Before I joined I was working out 6 days a week with little to no results. I wasn’t gaining muscles or losing inches. I was just stagnant. I had low energy and a really bad mindset. I thought that I could eat what I wanted because I worked out and it didn’t matter. So learning how and what to eat was my biggest success.
Biggest implementations: Food. Even when I’m not tracking my meals, I’m choosing whole foods instead of heavily processed ones because I now understand that it’s a lot harder to over eat whole foods.
I stop eating when I’m full and now I can actually tell if I’m full. Food matters. It matters so much.
The biggest mindset shift was that the scale shows you the trend more than the results. Getting comfortable with those trends actually allows me to track my period now because of my fluctuation in weight. The progress photos are where it’s at. Take the damn photos.
I’m strong AF. And last but not least, coach Dee makes amazing workouts that kick my ass and I love it. Sometimes they make me want to cry though. 🤣 Which I believe is the part that makes me recognize how strong I actually am.
